Sizes 6'x8', 6'x10', 8'x8' or 8'x10'. 19mm thick wall logs. Additional bracing ensures greater rigidity, similar to more expensive cabins with thicker logs. Double doors and a side window with panoramic low level glazing are included as standard. The floor and roof are tongued and grooved, which is very unusual in a budget priced cabin. Options include a verandah and felt tiles. Joinery doors and windows are also included. Detailed instructions are supplied for easy DIY self assembly. The picture shows the standard 8'x10' cabin.

QUICK ASSEMBLY IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS: This log cabin is faster and easier to fit than others. Most customers complete the cabin assembly within just 2 hours. All fixings are supplied complete with comprehensive instructions and a detailed parts list. Factory fitted doors and windows and pre-assembled gables slot into place with no adjustments needed on site. Unusually for a log cabin the floor and roof are also pre-assembled in sections to ensure a quicker and neater installation.
HIGH SPECIFICATION DOORS & WINDOWS: The doors and windows in this log cabin are joinery made with morticed and tenoned joints throughout. Features include fully profiled sash framing and good quality ironmongery.
LOW LEVEL GLAZING: Low level glazing provides a panoramic view from inside your garden room so you can appreciate your garden fully. With low level glazing you can enjoy a better view of the garden, especially at sites where the garden slopes away.
LENGTH AND WIDTH: In the SIZES & PRICES chart the first dimension listed is the width and the second dimension is the length. The width refers to the angled gable wall. The sizes quoted do not include the roof overhang or canopy. All sizes quoted are the external log cabin sizes unless stated otherwise.
LOG CABIN SIZES: Many log cabin suppliers quote only the roof size, which includes the roof overhang and the front canopy. The much smaller cabin size is either not listed at all or hidden in the small print. We quote cabin sizes, not including the roof overhang, unless stated otherwise.
DECORATIVE FELT TILES: Mineral coated bitumen felt tiles are an attractive and durable roofing material which is far more hardwearing than standard roofing felt. Traditionally used for small buildings only in the UK, most felt tiles are made in Scandinavia where they are used widely in housebuilding.
PRESERVATIVE TREATMENT: We recommend good quality microporous woodstains which are impervious to water but not to water vapour. This allows the wood to breathe. There are many different types of woodstains available to suit a variety of timber products from fence panels to hardwood windows. It is advisable to seek advice at a builder's merchant or hardware shop before choosing the most suitable preservative.
